A truly electric evening at the 2025 AAF Buffalo Award Show.

You could say it was the best night yet. You could say you could’ve cut the electricity with a knife (I can still hear Gorilla Monsoon saying this; look it up; we can’t find it). You could say a lot about the evening we had last night at the 2025 AAAs (formerly the ADDYs), so I’ll try to keep this concise and simply say this:

I am beyond proud of our agency.

Crowley Webb not only took home a gargantuan number of awards on behalf of our clients the 11 Day Power Play, ESAB, Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield, M&T Bank, Moneybags Dumplings, Open Farms, Second Chapter Bookstore, Spring Garden Association, and Crowley Webb (hey now!) – 34 to be exact – but the accolades didn’t stop with 12 golds and 22 silvers. We were thrilled to learn we also were awarded the night’s top prize – 2025 Best of Show – for the Highmark Stadium TaleGate trailer.

What began as a kernel of an idea about two years ago now – to provide Bills fans with a way to record their memories – has become an incredible journey. And wild story in and of itself. The Highmark Stadium TaleGate trailer was (and still is, as it’s coming back to a stadium near you in 2025) far more than two recording booths inside a custom-built metal box. It was a small army of hardworking individuals coming together to figure out logistical details from camera angles to how to strategically break a white guitar (these are but two of more than 27,000 details). It was a client believing in us and an idea that had tremendous legs (and two wheels) and then joining us on this journey every step of the way. It was a rainy day in August that couldn’t dampen our spirits when we finally cut the ribbon. It was plans and playbooks and pressure and patience. And a lot of Zubaz. It was a lot. And we wouldn’t trade anything for the memories or last night’s honor.

As if that wasn’t enough, our very own Tricia Barrett, our CEO and fearless leader, was the winner of the prestigious Levy-Osborn Award.

This honor recognizes one person with a distinguished record of achievement who has left their mark on the WNY advertising community. And if you know Tricia Barrett (and we know you do), of course she won this award. It wasn’t if, but simply when. There is likely no one who cares more, thinks more, does more, and applies themself more than her. She’s the total package. Which makes this honor a no-brainer. But don’t just take my words for it.

Quite the night indeed. Still reeling and will likely sleep at some point when the goosebumps subside. And isn’t that what’s great about this business we’re in? We still feel the electricity year after year. And that’s what drives us to make the work great.

Here’s to all of last night’s winners.
